Cowboys LB Leighton Vander Esch Leaves Eagles Game With Neck Injury
ARLINGTON, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Cowboys linebacker Leighton Vander Esch left Sunday night's game against the Eagles with a neck injury.
Vander Esch suffered the injury in the second quarter of the NFC East matchup after making a tackle on Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert. He remained down on the field for several minutes.
He eventually walked off on his own and into a blue tent on the Cowboys sideline.
He was first ruled questionable but was officially ruled out for the rest of the game in the third quarter.
