IRVING (105.3 The Fan) - Kyle Wilber never quite found a position. But he has clearly found a home, signing a two-year deal today to stay with the Cowboys, his agent Jordan Woy tells me.

Wilber was originally drafted in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Wake Forest with the idea he'd be an outside linebacker in a 3-4. When Dallas later switched to a 4-3, the team wondered if he could play end, or if he'd been lost at linebacker. Instead, he's become a "flex'' player who contributes in many ways, most notably on special teams, where he is a core player.

Wilber joins Rolando McClain as the two free-agent linebackers who have remained with the Cowboys this week.
