Cowboy Hall Of Fame To Induct New Members

FORT WORTH (AP) - The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame is set to induct new members, including championship team roper Walt Woodard.

The ceremony is set for Thursday evening at Fort Worth's Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame Museum honors excellence in competition, business and support of rodeo and the western lifestyle.

Also being inducted are: Anne Marion, president of Burnett Ranches, which includes the Four Sixes Ranch in West Texas; David and Stacie McDavid, cutting horse industry supporters with a training and breeding program at their Weatherford ranch; and Bobby Norris, who trains cutting horses at his Burleson ranch.

Past inductees have included Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan and actor Tommy Lee Jones.

Also Thursday, former Dallas Cowboys tight end Jay Novacek will be given an award celebrating the uniqueness of Texans.
