DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide involving a couple in their 90s.

The man and his wife were found shot to death Thursday afternoon at a building inside Presbyterian North Senior Living on Anderson Creek Circle in Northeast Dallas.

Police were called to the patio of a residence in the massive senior living complex just before 12:45 p.m.

"It appears that the male suspect shot the female victim before shooting himself," said Monica Cordova with the Dallas Police Department. "Both were pronounced deceased at the location by the medical examiner."

The two have been been identified as Arthur Julius Mills, 93, and Betty Jo Mills, 91.

The exact causes of death will await autopsies by the Dallas County Medical Examiner.

Police did not say what might have led up to the shootings.
