Cooler... for a Day

We'll have some morning rain but by afternoon storms will be south and east of the Metroplex:

Highs in the upper 80's as the clouds break some in the afternoon.

It's been since August 1st since DFW had a daytime high at DFW that didn't start with a 9 or a 1 (90's or 100's). Even Saturday with all the rain and big cool down late in the day the airport still hit 96°. Highs have been parked in that neighborhood for over a week:

We have big warm up in store for us as soon as the winds turn to the south. We'll be in the mid-90's on Monday and in the upper 90's Tuesday and Wednesday. Then a much stronger cold front moves in Wednesday night bringing with it a good chance of storms and a feel of Fall:
