Construction Worker Killed In Worksite Accident

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A construction worker has died after a worksite accident in northeast Fort Worth.
The accident happened during morning rush hour at a commercial construction site near Berkshire Lake Boulevard and Drovers View Trail.
MedStar spokesperson Matt Zavadsky says it appears that a dump truck started to roll and pinned the male worker underneath. "The truck was delivering construction materials to that area at the time that this occurred," he said. "It appears the truck may have moved inadvertently and gotten him caught up in some of the undercarriage of the vehicle."
First-responders with the Fort Worth Fire Department pronounced the man dead at the scene. There were no other deaths or injuries. The name of the deceased worker has not been released.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is investigating the cause of the accident.
