Community Wants Answers After Murder Of Mom & Daughter

HUNT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - It was Friday afternoon when a 51-year-old woman and her 27-year-old daughter were found dead inside a North Texas home. Before midnight that same day the daughter's estranged 30-year-old boyfriend was arrested, accused of Capital Murder.
Today officials with the Hunt County Sheriff's Office are expected to release more information about the deaths of Vicki Ann Gonzales and her daughter Nichole Elizabeth Gonzales, and the capture and arrest of Tyrone Jamaal Williams.
Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks said it was last week when his office received a 911 call. On it a woman was heard screaming for help. When deputies arrived at the home, off Highway 50 near Commerce, they found the bodies of the women. Along with the bodies deputies found two small children inside the home. They were unharmed and are now in foster care after being taken by workers with Child Protective Services (CPS). Williams is believed to be the father of the children.
The Texas Rangers joined the Hunt County Sheriff's Office, Commerce Police Department and Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) in the hunt for Williams. First, Williams car was found abandoned about three miles from the scene. Then, around 11 p.m., Commerce police received a call about a suspicious person. The person was ultimately identified as Williams and was taken into custody.
Tyrone Jamaal Williams is being held in the Hunt County Jail on $1,000,000 bond.
Sheriff Meeks said the purpose of today's briefing is to "update the public on the Capital Murder investigation."
The Hunt County Sheriff's Office press conference will be held at 3 p.m.
