DALLAS, Texas (1080 KRLD)- Drizzle plus cold temperatures means DFW Airport is experiencing some delays today.

The weather hasn't warmed up much today and the drizzle keeps on falling, so airlines are choosing to be safe and de-ice their planes before takeoff.

Cynthia Vega with DFW says it is causing several delays.

The airlines will continue to de-ice as they go if the weather doesn't improve.

Vega says passengers heading out should call ahead and make sure their flight is running as scheduled.
