DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A man and woman acted like they were about to buy alcohol at Cowboy's Discount Liquor at 4938 Military Parkway Tuesday, but instead police say they just stole it.

Police say when the clerk asked for ID, the couple ran out of the store.

The employee ran into the parking lot trying to get back the stolen merchandise and that's when the man pulled out a knife and stabbed the employee in the arm. Then he and the woman left.  The employee was treated at an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
