Carrollton Man Shot, Killed Leaving Apartment

CARROLLTON, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – Carrollton Police have a suspect in custody after a man was shot and killed while leaving his apartment early Tuesday morning.
Police said 56-year-old, Jose Ruiz was shot around 5:45 a.m. at The Place at Saddle Creek Apartments at 3420 Country Square Drive.
Ruiz was rushed to the hospital where he died.
Detectives believe the shooting was the result of a personal dispute between the suspect and victim.
The investigation continues.
