TYLER (CBSDFW.COM) — A local college baseball player was killed and two teammates were injured after the car they were in flipped on a roadway Saturday evening.

Texas College baseball players Keenan Clark and brothers Chandlor and Anferne Allen were headed back to Dallas from Tyler when a blowout sent their vehicle flipping. All three players were transported to Trinity Mother Frances Hospital, according to North Texas Aggies Baseball Club organizer Josie Cortez. The brothers played for the NTX Aggies during the summer.

Chandlor Allen died, according to multiple sources close to the players. Anferne Allen and Clark are still in the hospital.

All three are freshman baseball players at Texas College in Tyler. They are from the DeSoto/Duncanville area, where the Allen brothers were baseball standouts before heading to Tyler, Cortez said.

The family declined to share the players' conditions the Saturday night.
