LOS ANGELES (AP) - Brazilian UFC fighter Cris 'Cyborg' Justino has become a U.S. citizen.

The veteran fighter took her oath of citizenship during a naturalization ceremony Tuesday in Los Angeles.

The 31-year-old from Curitiba, Brazil, is 17-1 since her 2005 debut and has won titles in the Strikeforce and Invicta promotions.

She signed with the UFC earlier this year and lives in Huntington Beach.

Justino is one of more than 4,000 new citizens taking oaths in Tuesday's ceremonies.
