Braxton Miller Shares Cowboys Draft Vision With 'Ben & Skin'

"Shoot, two ball hogs on the same side of the ball? Two playmakers? It's going to be tough for the defenses draw something up for us," the Ohio State star tells Ben & Skin on 105.3 The Fan. "It would be one of the best duos to have me and him on the same team."
Miller may be getting a bit ahead of himself here. First comes his ongoing conversion from QB to wide receiver. He changed positions in July of 2015 and had a productive Buckeyes season (25 catches for 340 yards and three touchdowns) but nothing close to fell receiver Michael Thomas' 58 catches for 781 yards and nine scores. But Miller also rushed for 261 yards and a touchdown on 43 attempts in his senior season at Ohio State, and at the Scouting Combine created buzz as he posted 4.50 time in the 40-yard dash and also posted a 4.07 in the 20-yard shuttle, leaving many draft experts seeing Miller as a second-rounder.
Dallas may be interested at some level. The Cowboys coaches did oversee Miller at the Senior Bowl.
"Jason (Garrett) and staff," he said, "taught me a lot in a week's time. I was trying to impress them on the receiver side and the special teams side. And they loved it."
Possibly. But not as much as Braxton Miller would love to team with Bryant, which in his vision would give Dallas "two versatile, take-the-top-off-the-defense-with-speed-type of guys," Miller said. "So, it would be sweet."
Dallas, by the way, has other Buckeyes who will end up higher on their draft board, including defensive end Joey Bosa and running back Ezekiel Elliott. Ben & Skin asked Mille for his impressions of those two as potential picks at No. 4 overall.
"Well, it depends on what the team needs," Miller said. "Both are good at what they do. If you need somebody to make a big play handing it off or crunch time where it's third or fourth down, you trust your tailback to make a play for you. Absolutely. If you need somebody to put pressure on a quarterback, make plays in the interior like that, you go with Joey Bosa."
