DALLAS (CBSDFW) - The ice cream may be churning at Blue Bell, but it's not quite ready to hit store shelves and cool off the heated masses left sweltering in the Texas heat.

The South Texas creamery says it is producing ice cream at its Alabama plant. A company spokesperson tells 1080 KRLD what they are producing is being added to their inventory. But right now, they do not have a date on when their products will return to stores.

This news comes after the Alabama Health Department confirmed that they have found no contamination in any of the products at the Alabama plant.

The company has reviewed all aspects of operations at it's facilities in Brenham, Texas; Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and Sylacauga, Alabama.

Blue Bell shut down and recalled all products after listeria in its products was linked to three deaths. FDA documents reveal early evidence of problems dating all the way back to 2009.
