'Black Monday' Claims Handful Of NFL Coaches
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- Before the season started, many speculated that the 2014 season was make-or-break for Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett. He'll return -- it appears -- after leading Dallas to a 12-4 record and an NFC East title.
These coaches and personnel men, however, did not survive "Black Monday":
-- The Chicago Bears have fired GM Phil Emery and coach Marc Trestman.

-- The Falcons announced the firing of head coach Mike Smith.

-- The Jets announced Monday that GM John Idzik and head coach Rex Ryan will not be back in 2015.
This morning Woody Johnson informed John Idzik and Rex Ryan that they will not be returning to the team in 2015.

-- The 49ers and head coach Jim Harbaugh have mutually agreed to part ways, increasing the likelihood that Harbaugh will land at the University of Michigan (as reported).
