Big Tex Gets A Check Up Ahead Of State Fair Opening
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Big Tex is back and the State Fair of Texas says he's better than ever.
But before the doors to the fair open, Big Tex had to get a checkup.
A doctor for Children's Health Pediatric Group checked Big Tex's arm movements, eye movements, heartbeat and throadt.
Big Tex can do more this year than last, including blink and wink his eyes. He can also point, move his torso and shoulders.
The State Fair of Texas opens for the 2014 season at 10 am on September 26.
