KRLD -- Last year when Big State Fountain Grill in Irving almost closed after 100 years, an Irving family stepped up and rescued it.
"We've been in Irving for, gosh I can't even remember how many generations. We decided we didn't want to see this place go away, so we decided to buy it," said General Manager Chelsey Fairless.
