Big Rig Crash, Fuel Spill Shuts Down I-45 In Dallas

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A crash involving a big rig has shutdown southbound I-45 in the Dallas mixmaster.

It happened just before 7:30 a.m. on I-30.

There's a large fuel spill involved and Dallas County sheriff's deputies closed the freeway so they can get the big rig out of there and the road cleaned up. About 40 feet of guard rail was damaged, too.

A 48-year-old man was transported to Baylor Hospital in stable condition.

No word yet on what caused the crash.
