Design Zone is a fun, hands-on interactive exhibit where one can learn about math, art, music and engineering without feeling like you are doing "work." The exhibit engages you to move and turn on your creative mind as you look at how video game developers, roller coaster designers, and music producers create the fun things we enjoy.

This colorful exhibit showcases the work of Kehinde Wiley, a Los Angeles native who earned his master's in fine art from Yale University. Wiley's work hangs in museums all over the country. This exhibit, which highlights the artist's 14-year career, begins with his paintings of street life in Harlem. The exhibit expands beyond the images of African-American men and goes into the strong images of African American women and the colorful beauty that surrounds them. This exhibition comprises approximately 60 works and is a must see.

The National Galleries of Scotland in Edinburgh, which is comprised of three institutions (Scottish National Gallery, Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and the Scottish National Portrait Gallery), will be the focus of 55 paintings on exhibition at the Kimbell Art Museum. The works span a 442-year period (1490 – 1932). Works from Scottish painters Allan Ramsey and Sir Henry Raeburn, plus Renaissance masters Titian and Paolo Veronese. El Greco, Diego Velázquez, Frans Hals, Rembrandt van Rijn as well as other 17th-century painters will be featured along with 19th-century painters Edgar Degas, Claude Monet, Paul Gauguin, Paul Paul Cézanne and Camille Pissarro.

Charles and Valerie Diker's collection of American Indian art is one of the most celebrated private collections. The exhibition features approximately 120 works from basketry, sculpture, pottery, kachina dolls, ivories, regalia and pictographic art from North America. This is one of the most diverse and comprehensive collections of American Indian art to be exhibited publicly.

The Dallas Museum of Art presents more than 120 works, many on view for the first time, from the Inca Empire of the 15th and 16th centuries. This is a unique opportunity to look into over 1,000 years Andean culture and history. The exhibition of central Andes of South American work is comprised of ceramic, wood, gold, silver, fiber, textile and visual art objects.
