The Mustangs of Las Colinas, featuring nine bronze horses galloping across a granite stream, provides a perfect backdrop to highlight your family's free-spirited style. The life-like sculpture honoring Texas' pioneering heritage was created by African wildlife artist Robert Glen to serve as a focal point in the main plaza of Las Colinas when the area was first developed. The installation is not only the largest equestrian sculpture in the world, it's also one of the most photographed spots in North Texas. If you come to take personal family photos, you should have no issues. However, if you're scheduling a professional shoot, you'll need to coordinate it with the City of Irving.

When it comes to ideal photo locations in Fort Worth, many people tend to overlook the variety of settings that can be found in Sundance Square, located in the heart of downtown. This 55,000-square foot plaza is filled with lively restaurants, shops and hotels, most of which are housed in beautifully restored buildings. There's also a 216-foot jetted fountain, a 65-foot-long water wave wall and another decorative fountain in the center of a European-style courtyard attached to the side of the Jett Building. Speaking of the Jett Building, it's where you'll find the iconic Chisholm Trail Mural that was created by Richard Haas in 1988 to commemorate the Forth Worth segment of the Chisholm Trail cattle drives of 1867-1875. This three-story trompe l'oeil is one of the city's more photographed images and was even used as a backdrop for ESPN during the coverage of the Super Bowl.
