When a dish is so good you can't resist ordering it every single time you go to a restaurant, it must be on this list. D Magazine named it the "Best Latin Lunch." The Cachapa has patrons returning time and time again. Best described as a thick corn pancake or turnover, the Cachapa is grilled and then enthusiastically stuffed with meat, cheese or both, or substitute veggies. Brought to the table hot, the Cachapa is larger than one might expect, which is not entirely bad. Take it home and make two meals out of the most hunger-inducing corn dish in the metroplex.

Riscky's Steakhouse, almost 100 years in business is a quintessential feature of Fort Worth's Stockyards, and sizzles up some of the most drool-worthy barbecue and Texan treats in these parts. On top of the endless meaty menu, there is an item for corn-lovers, too. Found in few other eateries, Riscky's makes Fried Corn. For only about $6, Riscky's chooses corn bursting with sweetness, dips it in flavorful batter and then fries it up to perfection for you. Most recommend trying it with traditional ranch dressing. Even dressing-free, Fried Corn sounds fit for the folks of Fort Worth and beyond.
