Mr Mesera is an America-Mexican restaurant that sells American standards as well as Mexican classics. The restaurant is centrally located and has a nice large patio for a relaxing meal outdoors. While you can get tacos made with beef, pork, and shrimp, it is the fish tacos that seem to be the best best when visiting Mr Mesero. Unlike Veracruz Cafe, this is a Tex-Mex restaurant, so this is where those raised on Tex-Mex food might prefer to dine. The restaurant is open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday. There is no set closing time on Friday or Saturday.

As their name suggests, the Rusty Taco specializes in tacos. The Dallas original opened in 2010 focusing on made-from-scratch street-style tacos and grew to be so popular that Rusty Fenton expanded to include seven restaurants in three markets. The original Rusty Taco in Dallas is still a unique restaurant, converted from an old gas station with a garage door that opens during good weather. When it comes to fish tacos, they have the grilled or fried fish taco with chipolte crema, red cabbage and cilantro, and the Baja shrimp taco, with crispy shrimp, baja sauce, red cabbage and cilantro. They are open from 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Saturday. They are closed on Sundays.

Urban Taco is part of the Dallas-based Del Sur Restaurant Group. Unlike Rusty Taco, the Urban Taco is still a full service restaurant with more than just tacos on the menu, but it is the tacos that are the specialty. They hand-grind their spices and create their tacos from scratch, and also have a nice bar selection. Their fish tacos are a bit pricier than other street taco locations, but the ambiance is part of the price. Urban Taco is open at 11 a.m. every day and closes at 10 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
