It is recommended that you bring a small tent, which is to be taken down by 8:00 p.m. Certain activities like bounce houses, face painting, pony rides, miniature golf, levee slide and the water slide are free events No coolers are allowed. There will be food vendors for various prices which take all major credit cards and cash. ATMs will be on site. The Kidzone is open from 2 – 8 p.m. and the pony rides are from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. Live music will start at 6:00 p.m. and the fireworks show starts at 10 p.m. There will be plenty of activities for your whole family to enjoy.

It's on the eve of the  4th of July and features a 30-minute ground-launching fireworks show that is set to choreography and simulcast live on the radio. The show even includes fly-bys by the World Class Warbirds. Your family will enjoy visiting the Cavanaugh Flight Museum, all the food vendors, games, prizes and musical performances. There's even an after party at the Addison Circle Park. The park opens at noon and the events start from 5 p.m. to midnight. The fireworks show starts at 9:30 p.m.

The Fair Park gates will open at 6 a.m. with so many wonderful events which include a 7K/4K race that starts at 7:40 a.m. Children can visit the Children's Aquarium for $4 or watch the butterflies for $2 at the Texas Discovery Gardens at 10 a.m. Musical performances will start at 7 p.m. and the WFAA-TV Channel 8 will start its live broadcast at 9 p.m. Strollers are not allowed and parking is $5.
