Often there are times when a person wants to head out for a drink, and none of their human friends are available to join them. Luckily, there is a number of bars in the DFW area that allow man's best friends to accompany their owners for a few drinks. These establishments include neighborhood bars and outdoor patios that allow people to have some drinks, while their dogs are more than welcome to join them. The Dubliner also has a patio that is dog-friendly for anyone looking to have a nice sandwich with their Guinness. The main rule to understand is that dogs must remain on a leash, but this is a great bar to spend a nice Dallas afternoon on the patio with man's best friend. The kitchen remains open every night until midnight.

The bar is wheelchair accessible, with patio and sidewalk service, and it allows dogs to accompany their owners on Sundays. However, make sure your dog likes cats because Lee Harvey's has its own house cat, Bacon. The bar is open until 2 a.m. every day.

The Truck Yard is also kid friendly on the patio, although the bar humorously asks owners to keep dogs and unruly kids on a leash. Truck Yard offers reasonable prices on beer, frozen drinks and alcoholic beverages, as well as a great menu with pizza and more. The Truck Yard is open every day from 11 a.m. until midnight.

This is the perfect place to go to find a ton of dogs from all over the DFW area that your best friend can play with.
