This year's art walk through the Design District is in combination with the Deep Ellum Community Association. While it is called a walk, you will need a bike or car to get around. The dealers that participate in this huge one-day event are all over the city. From new to well-established galleries, there is a lot to see and plenty of artists and gallery owners to talk to during this eight-hour walk.

Four times a year, up to 30 art lovers jump on a bus in Dallas' Design District and art hop to some of Texas' finest galleries, artist studios, collectors' homes and corporate collections. You don't have to be an art connoisseur to participate. Art lovers of all ages and levels enjoy the tours that also include lunch or dinner, snacks, beverages and a goody bag. The most recent tour in March took participants to the Holly Johnson Gallery in the Design District, Kirk Hopper Gallery in Deep Ellum and the Webb Gallery in Waxahachie. The next tour is scheduled for May 10. There are many repeat participants because each tour is completely different.
