Best Baseball Fields In DFW

When it comes to playing baseball and softball, the DFW area offers a lot of options, both with city parks and facilities that cater to the general public. While many of these parks house leagues, school events and more, they also have times when the general public can head out for some fun in the sun. However, it is also important to make sure that a certain field does not require reservations or a deposit. Here is a look at some of the best baseball fields in the DFW area.

Fort Worth, TX 76114
(817) 392-5700
fortworthtexas.gov/athleticsRockwood Baseball Field is controlled by the city of Fort Worth. This is a very large baseball complex with a lot of seating and incredible manicured grass in both the infield and outfield. There are large dugouts, and the dirt areas of the field use dirt and not sand. There is also a scoreboard in the field, although that is reserved mostly for leagues and tournaments. Call the city of Fort Worth for reserving the fields, and make sure to check on league and tournament play as well.
Z Boaz Baseball Field
5250 Old Benbrook Road
Fort Worth, TX 76126
(817) 392-5700
fortworthtexas.gov/athleticsLocated in the Z Boaz Park, this baseball field in Fort Worth is a step below the Rockwood Baseball Field. Unlike Rockwood, sand is used here instead of dirt, which is not safe for competitive league play. However, the seats are nice; the field offers league and tournament play; and the park around it offers disc golf, kids play areas and much more. Once again, this is ran by the city of Fort Worth. Call the city to reserve the fields and learn about leagues and more.
