"Suspicious Circumstance" Investigation In North Richland Hills

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (CBSDFW.COM) - North Richland Hills Police say a seven-year-old girl and boy and 15-year-old girl were walking home from school in the 5300 block of Scott Drive around 4:30 p.m.

Police say the trio decided to have a foot race.

The boy ran ahead of the two girls at which time police say a truck drove up alongside the girls. The driver was reported to have said, "get in girl."

The two girls say they ran straight home, locked the door, and watch the truck drive north bound on Scott Drive.

The police canvassed the area but were unable to locate the vehicle or driver.

Police are no longer calling this an "attempted abduction" due to lack of information.

Suspect description- white man, mid 20's, dirty blonde hair, wearing black sunglasses and a camo shirt.

Suspect vehicle- bright yellow truck, normal wheels.

The police are currently investigating the incident and have been in communication with Birdville ISD Administration.
