Muted PastelsYou will see the Pantone colors take a softer turn in outerwear and handbags. This is great for the budget-conscious woman who will be able to utilize this key piece of versatility across many different looks. Cotton candy colors (pink, blue, purple) will be trend the cosmetics with eye shadows, lipsticks and nail lacquers being softer. Firecracker red is has fizzled out but not to worry, candy apple red will re-emerge during the holidays.

Lace Is Still In The lingerie look of slip dresses continues and you will also see lace in fashion details i.e., lace chokers, lace baroque shoes, lace overlays on a guitar-strap for your tote and even lace design accents on your nails. This Victorian inspired look is definitely something that you will see this fall.

Styles Without Borders You will see global designs as a big trend this season. Indian, Asian, Meso-American, Southwestern and Latin American patterns will cross over each other to be married in items like a loomed peasant top and Kimono layered piece (a cross between a shawl and a sweater) will take on the design pattern of another culture. Ponchos with embroidered detailing will also be a strong trend.

Denim On DenimA chambray shirt paired with darker indigo denim pant is a look you will see this season. Say goodbye to your skinny jeans. Find your freedom with wider pant cuffs that will be personalized with accents of embroidery, acid wash and lace.

JewelryThe metal this Fall is everything but silver. Bronze, copper and warmer gold is what you will see earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings. Stacking mixed metals creates a fun look and increases your personal style. Special note: A rose gold accent piece works well for every skin tone.

Retro FootwearThe platform boots that were popular in days of Marvin Gaye and patent leather Go-Go boots of Dean Martin's Golddiggers are back in style. The fashion statements of the '60s and '70s take on new life this season with the muted colors (mentioned earlier) and also in the traditional fall tones of cognac, merlot and charcoal.

Bags/Purses As we come back from vacation, we transition from summer totes to bucket-style totes and saddlebags with wider straps. Your Fall carry-all will be smaller but still large enough to carry your essentials.
