Who doesn't love the summer? Great weather, unless you live in Dallas, awesome events and fun times with your friends and family. Let's not forget the drinks. Now that summer is here you can enjoy making some great summer drinks, a.k.a adult beverages. We talked to bartender and business owner Nikia Woods of Nikia Woods Bartending on how to make your best tropical drink recipe.

Create Signature Drinks In order to enjoy a great event you can create signature drinks for your party, wedding or whatever. Signature drinks allow you to leave an impression on your guests and to stand out from the traditional drinks they are used to. But don't make something that is too strong or too weak. Signature drinks can be fun and you should get with your bartender and sample the drinks before your party.

Have Fun Drinks Fun drinks are usually popular drinks, but you can rename them if you want to. These fun drinks are usually based with rum or tequila — it may sound strong but mixed with the right combination they are just as fun to drink. Fun drinks are also easy to make at home, so you don't have to go to a bar, and they tend to be more affordable when you do choose to go out.

Enjoy Drinks With Vibrant Colors Colorful drinks are fun, flirty and delicious, and just mixing them is sometimes the best part. Woods says she usually has to come up with some pretty interesting choices to get colors like purple, yellow and other choices for her guests to enjoy. If you want to enjoy colorful drinks, then you should try a lot different liqueurs and juices.

Try Tropical DrinksYou don't need to be by the pool or on the beach to enjoy a great tropical drink. You can enjoy a tropical drink at a BBQ or just because, the choice is yours. You'll be surprised how easy they are to make and enjoy.

Try Making The Blue Mango BreezeFor a nice, enjoyable and easy summer drink Woods recommends the tropical and flirty Cool Mango Breeze. Grab these ingredients to mix your drink, then pull up a lawn chair and chill out poolside with this great drink.

• 1 Part Cruzan Mango Rum
• 1 Part Pineapple Juice
• 1 Part Soda Water
• Dash of Dekuyper Blue Curacao Liqueur
• Sugar for the rim

Rim a rocks glass with sugar and add ice, in an ice-filled shaker, combine the rum, pineapple juice and Blue Curacao. Shake and strain into the prepared glass. Top with Soda Water
