Arsonist Torches 9 Cars In South Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Fort Worth arson investigators say nine cars were intentionally set on fire between 4:02 and 4:41 a.m. Saturday within a one mile radius near Hemphill Street and Berry Avenue.

An arrest has yet to be made, but investigators say the case "is a rapidly evolving investigation."

However, investigators are still asking anyone with tips or information regarding the fires to call 817.469.8477.

A $1,000 cash reward is being offered for anyone whose tip leads to an arrest and conviction.

Caroline Fralia's family car was among those scorched in the fires. Fralia told authorities that her dogs woke her up around 4 a.m., that's when she noticed her F350, along with six other vehicle, on fire.
