Armed Convenience Store Robber Wanted In Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Fort Worth Police are after a man with a semi-automatic handgun who robbed a 7-Eleven at 1622 Hemphill Street on March 15.

Police say the same man tried to rob another store in the 2800 block of 8th Avenue about 45 minutes earlier.

The Fort Worth Police Department provided the following description of the suspect:

The suspect is black, 18-25 years old, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall with a slender build. The suspect was wearing dark Levi brand jeans, a dark hooded jacket, and had light colored high top shoes with dark a colored area at the laces and a stripe on the inside of the shoes. He was seen wearing blue and white plaid shorts under his jeans. He was also wearing dark face covering.
