ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) — A rollover crash sent five teenagers to the hospital Sunday morning.

Arlington Police say officers responded to a crash in the 5300 block of SW Green Oaks Boulevard around 10:30 a.m. The car had lost control, hit a curb and rolled into the backyard of a house, hitting wooden fences and a storage building along the way. The car landed on its own roof.

The five teenagers, four male and one female, were sent to local hospitals, police say. One male had serious injuries. The residents of the house said that person had a piece of wood stuck in his body.

The residents told CBS11 they tried to help the best they could. The car is still in the backyard of the house.

Most of the teenagers are Arlington Independent School District students, police say; the driver may have already graduated.

Police say speeding may have led to a loss of control, resulting in the crash.
