Arlington Police Search For Car That Hit Elderly Man
ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Police are looking for a car involved in a hit and run of 73-year-old man around 7:30 a.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of Ascension Blvd. in north Arlington.
Terry Pinkston was left for dead, suffering from a broken pelvis, broken ribs and two broken vertebrae.
Based on a witness account, police are searching for a mid-90's or early 2000's model indigo or blue colored Chevy Cavalier with damage to the hood and possibly the windshield.

Pinkston was out on his daily morning walk near the Jefferson Point Apartments when someone hit him from behind, according to a Facebook post from Pinkston's daughter.
Arlington police confirmed that Pinkston was walking on the west side of the sidewalk, and the suspect vehicle was traveling southbound on Ascension.
His daughter alleges the driver drove with Pinkston on the hood of his car until slamming the brakes and throwing the 73-year-old head-first into a stucco fence post.
The car and driver then fled the scene.
