Arlington Police Uncover Teenager's Fake AK-47 In Stolen Vehicle

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) — The Arlington Police Department uncovered a teenager's heavy, metal Airsoft replica gun in a stolen car Friday evening.

Police chief Will Johnson said the lookalike AK-47 gun was taken from a 15-year-old who was inside the stolen car.

Airsoft guns shoot non-metallic spherical projectiles which are typically made of plastic.

"No reason for a replica Airsoft to look like this," Johnson said.
