Arlington Man Dead After Shooting At Pick-Up Basketball Game

ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - What started as a pickup basketball game Sunday evening in Arlington ends with one man dead.

Arlington Police Sergeant Paul Rodriguez says some men were playing basketball at a court on Overlook Drive about 7:00 pm Sunday when an altercation broke out between two players.

According to reports, the unidentified victim got into an argument and pushing match with an unknown man. As the victim and his friends walked away, the same man shot the victim.

Police say the shooter ran away and is still on the loose.

The victim's friends drove him to Arlington Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
