NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- Nose-body even knows" was the note from American Airlines after their plane was put back in service after a bird strike.

American airlines said a plane was now back in service after being damaged last week. The Airbus A321 stuck possibly two or more birds during takeoff according to CBS News. The plane was headed to Dallas from Seattle Tacoma International Airport last Wednesday.

The airline sent out a lighthearted tweet Tuesday indicating that repairs had been made. "A flock, a flyby and a quick freshen up. Thanks to our #AATeam, nose-body even knows."

The airline confirmed the plane was back in service. "Yes it is. Just a quick "spa" day and back in the skies!" they tweeted back in response to a question from CBSDFW's twitter account.

After the bird strike last week, flight 2310, with 150 passengers, returned to Sea-Tac airport after takeoff and landed safely.
