Amber Alert For 2-Year-Old Discontinued; Child Safe

UPDATE:  The Amber Alert was discontinued around 9:30 p.m.  Authorities said the 2-year-old boy was found safe.

STAPLES, TX (CBSDFW.COM) - The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued an Amber Alert for 2-year-old Jace Lane Glendenning.  

Authorities said he was abducted by Teresa Marie Walker, 30.

They are believed to be in a 2016 silver Jeep Compass with license plate number CTK P80.

The little boy is 30 inches tall and weighs 30 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a turquoise t-shirt, khaki shorts and black Nike sandals.

Walker is said to be 5'7", 180 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office said Walker was last heard from in Staples, just southeast of San Marcos.

Anyone with information on this abduction can call the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office at 830-379-1224.
