DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Police say a 10-year-old boy was kidnapped during an armed robbery at a home in the 800 block of Buick Avenue in east Oak Cliff, Monday around 12:30 p.m.
Police say the child is Nicholas Fierros, Jr. He's 4'9" and weighs 60 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing an orange shirt with white or khaki shorts, with no shoes on.
Monday evening, Dallas Police said, "there are elements in an Amber Alert that are not present in this incident, therefore it is an Endangered Missing Child (Kidnapping)."
Fierros was at his aunt's house when three men stormed in and demanded money. The aunt said she didn't have any money.
Police say one of the suspects restrained the aunt while two other children in the home hid.
Police say the suspects took off with Nicholas.
No word on a description of the suspects yet or where they might be.
This is a developing story.
Anyone who sees Fierros should call 911 or the Dallas Police Department at (214) 671-4268.
