Alleged Shooter In Custody After Arlington Police Chase

UPDATE: 7:15 p.m. - Arlington Police say the suspect allegedly shot his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend.  No word on the severity of the injury.

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Arlington Police say one person was injured when a suspect shot at a car in the 2400 block of Collins Monday evening.

The suspect then sped away and police gave chase.

Police say the suspect ended up driving west bound in the east bound lanes on Highway 183 striking at least one vehicle before he got out and ran.

Police took him into custody without incident in Euless at Bear Creek and Duckett.

Police say the suspect hit four vehicles including a charter bus along the pursuit route based upon the suspect's driving behavior.
