Father & Daughter Caught After Robbing Grandview Bank

JOHNSON COUNTY (CBSDFW) - A father and daughter are in custody following a bank robbery and lengthy chase that reached speeds of 150 mph.

Michael Dwayne Bailey, 41 was charged with Aggravated Robbery and Evading. The daughter, Megan Lynn Bailey, 19 was charged with Aggravated Robbery.

Johnson County Emergency Management says a bank robbery suspect out of Grandview led police and deputies on a high speed chase Thursday afternoon that ended in Mansfield.

According to law enforcement officials, Grandview Police responded to a call regarding an armed robbery at the Grandview Bank, spotted a suspect vehicle and began the initial pursuit.

Johnson County Sheriff's Office deputies joined the pursuit followed by Alvarado, and Mansfield as the chase continued at speeds of up to 150 mph.

Police say suspects were taken into custody after the vehicle crashed into some trees on Davis Street in Mansfield.

A handgun and other firearms were recovered from the vehicle.

The suspects were taken to the Johnson County Jail.  The FBI was investigating the bank robbery.
