Alfred Morris Gets First TD As A Cowboy

All of the attention and focus on the Cowboys running game has centered around rookie first round pick Ezekiel Elliott. However, the Cowboys have another pretty good option in the backfield in former Redskin Alfred Morris, who ran for 4,723 yards the last three seasons in Washington.

Morris saw just seven carries for 35 yards in the opener, but today, after a couple of Ezekiel Elliott fumbles, he got his opportunity to shine. In the fourth quarter with the Cowboys trailing by three and the team set up inside the Washington 10 yard line, Morris punched it in the end zone.

The touchdown is Morris' first as a member of the Cowboys and gave them a 27-23 lead.
