Aggravated Assault Suspect Evades Garland Police

GARLAND (CBSDFW.COM) - A six-hour SWAT standoff turned out to be with an empty house.

Police tell CBS11, 23-year-old Joshua Randell is wanted for allegedly pulling a gun out on a woman.  He's facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

It happened in the 5600 block of Duck Creek Friday night.

The SWAT team made numerous attempts to reach out to Randall.  They even used tear gas to bring him out the home but they later realized he'd gotten away.

Authorities tell CBS11 this isn't Randall's first brush with the law.Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
