Addison Police Seek Help In Finding Armed Carjacker

ADDISON (CBSDFW.COM) - Addison police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who is wanted on charges of aggravated robbery in relation to an armed carjacking that occurred Saturday, October 22.

According to police, a 14-year-old boy was working out at a baseball facility at 15605 Wright Brothers Drive and walked outside the facility to retrieve equipment from his parents' vehicle.

Police said the 14-year-old was approached by the suspect. The man pointed a handgun at the boy, demanded the keys to the vehicle, and drove off in it.

According to police, the boy was not injured and vehicle remains missing.

The missing vehicle is a maroon 2007 Mazda CX9 with the license number DLM2096.

Police are asking that anyone with information regarding this case to contact Addison police detectives at 972.450.7169 or their local police agency.
