AA Flight Makes Emergency Landing At DFW Airport

DFW AIRPORT (CBSDFW.COM) - American Airlines Flight 2437, from Atlanta to Los Angeles landed at DFW Airport because of a possible issue with the plane's hydraulic Tuesday afternoon.

A passenger, @TedDodger tweeted, "@AmericanAir terrifying emergency landing now in Dallas. Hydraulics failure. Told to brace for impact. Horrible."

He also tweeted a photo out the window of an emergency vehicle approaching the plane.

American Airlines says the flight landed safely.

Passengers and crew changed aircraft to continue their trip to LAX.

The Airbus 319 had a crew of 5 and 127 passengers.
