A Dallas Cowboys Programming Note For Thursday, Aug. 13

For the 17th consecutive year, CBS11 will again be airing Dallas Cowboys Preseason Football.

We will have four games this season:

-- Thursday, 8/13, 9 p.m. at San Diego
-- Sunday, 8/23, 7 p.m. at San Francisco
-- Saturday, 8/29, 6 p.m. vs Minnesota
-- Thursday, 9/3, 7 p.m. vs Houston

Each game is preceded by the 1 hour Countdown To Kickoff show. And new this year is a series of four, one-hour documentaries called "Deep Blue," which focuses on one Dallas Cowboys individual (whether it be a player or coach), their rise to fame, and the challenges they faced to achieve success.

Many of you know this, but as a reminder -- and for those who are new to the DFW area -- when CBS11 airs Cowboys Preseason Football, programming from CBS moves right over to TXA21 live in the same period that you would see them on CBS11.

Our lineup this Thursday, 8/13, is as follows (by station):

8pm: Countdown to Kickoff
9pm: Dallas Cowboys @ San Diego Chargers
12mn: CBS11 News at 10pm

7:30pm: Mom
8pm: Big Brother
9pm: Under The Dome
10pm: Mike & Molly (syndicated version)
10:35pm: CBS Summer Showcase: NCIS Los Angeles
11:37pm: PGA Championship Highlights Show
12:07am: The Late Late Show With James Corden

TXA21 will also air an encore of Thursday's Deep Blue and game against San Diego this Sunday, 8/16, starting at 2 p.m.
