DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — A three-alarm fire at a three-story apartment complex in Dallas broke out Sunday evening.

The structure fire in the 4500 block of Gilbert Avenue reportedly began as a chimney fire, but the official cause has not yet been determined, according to Dallas Fire Rescue spokesman Jason Evans. The investigation is ongoing.

There were no reported injuries to residents, but one firefighter was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury, Evans said. The firefighter fell through the roof and will be allowed to return home from the hospital Sunday night.
