4-Alarm Fire Damages 3 Biz, 2 Dozen Cars In Balch Springs

BALCH SPRINGS (CBSDFW.COM) - Firefighters from multiple departments battled a three-alarm fire at an auto collision company facility.
The fire at a pallet factory reportedly spread to Jimmy's Automotive and destroyed it and also damaged at least one other business.
It's happened at 2841 S. Belt Line Road.

Dallas Fire-Rescue sent more than 20 units to help Balch Springs fight the fire.

The fire reportedly spread to other businesses and flames and smoke could be seen from miles away.
There are no reports of injuries.

By 9:45 p.m. the fire was under control, but firefighter say they will be on the scene for several days.
