DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Two men have been wounded in a shootout at the same South Dallas convenience store where a seven-year-old girl was shot last week.

According to Dallas Police, gunfire erupted just before 9:00pm Sunday outside the TMA grocery store on Second Avenue at Metropolitan, a couple of blocks from Fair Park.

The two wounded men were taken to the hospital, their condition has not been released.

Police are not saying what led up to the shooting.

It's also not clear if last night's shooting is connected to last Thursday's drive-by that wounded a little girl riding in her father's SUV.

Investigators did not believe the girl or her father were the targets but were simply in the line of fire.
