NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Two earthquakes shook North Texas this weekend, the USGS says, including a magnitude 2.8 in Irving.

The USGS reported a 2.1 earthquake hit on Saturday, and the 2.8 rumbled on Sunday — just days after a different quake of the same magnitude shook the area.

Residents in the area took to social media saying they felt the quakes.

Earthquakes have become common around the old site of the Cowboys Stadium in Irving.
