2-Alarm Apartment Fire In Fort Worth Displaces 18

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A fire at the Ambassador Apartments at 511 Tierney in East Fort Worth did major damage to eight units and displaced 18 people Thursday night.

The fire started around 6:40 p.m. and smoke could be seen for miles.

The Fort Worth Fire Department reported the fire was out around 8:00 p.m.

No one was hurt and arson investigators say the fire appears to be an accident.

More 15 FWFD units responded to this incident, and were assisted by the Fort Worth Police Department and MedStar Ambulance.

The Red Cross is helping the families displaced by the fire.
